HELC is managed by a Board of Trustees which are nominated by existing Board of Trustees.  Any parent or community leader is eligible to serve on the Board of Trustees. 

The number one responsibility of the Board of Trustees is to serve as fidicuary agents of HELC and to hire and supervise the Executive Director.
